Aisa Atilano
Aisa graduated from the Ateneo with a BA degree in Communications Technology Management. But after a few short years in the corporate world, she realized she may just as well have gone to school across the Ateneo, at ISCAHM, and learned about sugar and spice… and everything nice. And she did just that.
Aisa began in 2006 with children’s cakes, and has gotten lots of practice since then with her thirteen nephews and nieces. And it was her siblings getting married that started her foray into wedding cakes.
Nowadays though, Aisa is known for her refined and convincing sugar-portrayals of flowers. “They’re not real!” has often been heard around her candy-handiwork. Pastry and design courses in London, California, Singapore, and Seoul, have taught Aisa about technique, style, movement, and symmetry, which altogether make for a beautiful and yummy cake (which now can even be vegan-friendly!).
Simply put, these cakes are Aisa’s passion and Artistic expressions in sugar and flour. Every piece is lovingly and painstakingly made to perfection to make all your cake dreams come true. Thrilled clients often comment that her cakes are “too pretty to eat”, and she always has to convince them to take a bite. From rich chocolate, salty caramel and tangy sweet lemon — flavor is just as important to her, that’s why her cakes taste as good as they look. Every bite and slice will surely keep your bellies full and hearts happy.
